”Think Global Act Local" a jointly organised a symposium by University of Nairobi Geography Students Society (UNGSS) and Literature Students Association (LSA)

On 16^th October 2025 the University of Nairobi Geography Students Society and Literature Students Association jointly organised a symposium themed ”Think Global Act Local: Youth Leading the transformation for a sustainable Future. The students were supported by Prof. Masumi Odari and Chairpersons of the two Departments Prof. Miriam Musonye and Prof. Stellah Mikalitsa. The event which was sponsored by Soka University was attended by the deputy president of Soka University Prof. Junichi Ida, Soka Gakkai executive Director, Mr. Yoshiyuki Nagaoka, the deputy director Ms Junja and Ms Jane Achieng Onyango, Head - ESG Advisory and Technology Solutions Takataka.
